I’m often asked which is the best spa I’ve been to…and it’s a question I can’t answer. I like one for its location (the foothills of the Himalayas), another for its programmes (the South Tyrol) and another for its food (Thailand). But the truth is it’s not the spa I rate as much as the therapists. People spend a fortune on the look, the decor, the flowers and the unguents when really, what matters, is the person who touches you.
